Featured In Show Your Worth
I’m honored to be featured as a guest author in the best-selling book Show Your Worth: 8 Intentional Strategies for Women to Emerge as Leaders at Work by Shelmina Abji, which was recognized as a Top #3 Amazon bestseller in the Women in Business category. Being included in this powerful collection of stories alongside inspiring leaders and changemakers is both humbling and deeply meaningful to me.
In the book, I share a part of my journey—highlighting some of the challenges I’ve faced, the lessons I’ve learned, and the values that continue to guide my path. My story reflects my commitment to growth and resilience, values that also guide my practice as I help clients embrace their own paths of growth and inner strength.
Show Your Worth is more than just a book—it’s a movement that empowers individuals, especially women and underrepresented voices, to recognize their value and confidently claim their place. I’m proud to contribute to this mission and to be part of a narrative that uplifts and inspires others to do the same.

Insurance
I do not accept insurance and do not participate as a provider in any managed care plan. However, I can provide a monthly “superbill” for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network claims. There are pros and cons to using insurance. While it may lower costs, it typically requires me to make a clinical diagnosis. A diagnosis becomes part of your medical record and could have current and future implications. Limiting the involvement of third party payers allows the therapeutic process to have a greater degree of autonomy and privacy.

Healing begins when you feel truly seen, understood, and supported. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or the complexities of balancing multiple cultures and family expectations, you don't have to do it alone. The experiences that shaped you don't have to define your future. Therapy can help you make sense of your story and move toward lasting healing.
Hi, I'm Priscilla, founder and licensed clinical psychotherapist of Priscilla Abji Counseling (PAC). I've been working in the mental health field since 2012, supporting teens and adults through life's challenges with compassionate, evidence-based care.
My approach is outcome-focused, warm, compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe that therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Because no two people are the same, I tailor treatment to your unique needs, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches to create a personalized path forward.
I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate the unique dynamics related to first and second generation families, intercultural relationships, trauma, attachment wounds, and cultural identity. I also specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and create lasting change.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. If my approach resonates with you, I'd love to connect for a free consultation by phone or email to answer your questions and explore whether we're a good fit. I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.
Jamie (Jung In) Jang, AMFT - #161798
Hi there! I’m Jamie, an associate mental health therapist. Since 2021, I’ve had the joy of working closely with Priscilla, first as her administrative intern and now as an associate therapist under her supervision. Working alongside Priscilla has shaped the way I hope to show up as a therapist—with warmth, presence, clarity, and a deep respect for each person’s story.
As I work toward becoming a licensed therapist, I’m especially passionate about offering compassionate, culturally responsive care, grounded in healing and growth. I believe in tailoring therapy to each individual, honoring each person's unique story, strengths, and traits. As a 1.5/2nd-generation immigrant, I’m excited to weave the richness of my lived experience into my practice.
I work with modalities including EMDR, expressive arts therapy, parts work, and somatic approaches that honor the mind-body connection. My goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and support, creating space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Whether you're seeking self-knowledge, healthier relationships, learning to recognize and advocate for your needs, or something entirely different, we'll work together to honor your emotions, understand your inner world, and explore what lies beneath the surface.
